1994 Johnson 150 Fastrike Parts Info

Does anyone have a parts manual for a 1994 Johnson 150 FastStrike model number J150GLERV? I have the OEM sevice manual, but no parts manual. I recently installed a new water pump kit in my motor and did not install an o'ring at the top of the driveshaft. The OEM service manual does not show an o'ring at the top of the driveshaft. I have been told that OMC eliminated this o'ring in 1993 or 1994. If someone has a parts manual and would be so kind as to look up whether or not my motor calls for this o'ring, I certainly would appreciate it. If the parts manual calls for the o'ring I will have to tear the lower unit down again. Heck I might even buy you a light brown sudsy beverage if you can help me out. Thanks to anyone that can help me out.

Nope....no driveshaft oring on yours Ron......soon as the boats in the water, I'm on my way for that cold one.....I like Bud Longnecks......VERY cold......

OBJ, I probably would give you a 12 pack or more of the long necks if you were near me (and believe me they would be just short of being snow cones). Boy, am I glad to know it does not take the o'ring. You know I didn't mind dropping the driveshaft - it was hooking up the shift shaft that was a pain in the south side. Thanks again ever so much!!

LOL....yea Ron...even I have trouble with the darn shift shafts on occasion.....

You did grease the splines though, right?<br /><br />What trouble did you have with the shift shaft? Thats one of the easier ones to do.
