Hello All,

Sorry to start on this board with a problem. This is driving me nuts.
I'm fishing lake ontario in a week and am desperate to get this issue resolved.

The VRO has been properly disconnected with the pump oil intake plugged and sensors unplugged

The random alarm is a single chirp that seems to start strong and then kind of die out at the end. Sound like it does at start-up.

Here's what I have done so far.

Fuel filter - no change
Fuel line - no change
New plugs - no change

Last time I went out I was careful to observe the rpms. They literally stop - total cut-off then resume.

Tell tale is good

Options now: check for other fuel restrictions? pick-up in tank? check tank vent?

I installed a glass fuel filter, maybe someone should observe while the engine cuts?

rebuild/change fuel pump?

change thermostat?

Thanks in advance for your advice,
Kyle
