1994 force 120 hp control cables lock down inside cowl

I bought a 1994 bayliner with 120 hp at a auction, where control cables come thru cowl, there is nothing to hold them in place,something is missing, i can't find a picture of the hook up i must be missing. CAN'T find someone with same setup to see what's missing, anyone have a picture. Bought seloc manual, useless, been online for days searching for pictures. any help ty in advance. some kind of anchor bracket.

Your 1994--if it is a 1994 engine--should have mercury controls. They pass through the front of the cowl. There should be a "post" about 3 inches back from the cowl into which the black cylindrical control cables slide down. These plastic plugs are seated in a black plastic sleeve before sliding into the seat cast in the cowl. There should be a black plastic lever on top of the seat which is clicked into place and holds down the cables in the seat.

Some of the 94's used the Force shifter connections.
Will take a few pics when the sun comes out and try to post.
