just bought a 1994 bayliner reflex. boat was half under water on the inside. pulled a spark plug and got water so i figure its shot. the boat itself is in excellent shape no scratches or dings and the interior can be cleaned spotless. i dont know if it was winterized (probably not). the block could be cracked dont know. wondering if theres any way to tell or if its worth fixing. i only gave $250 for it. seems like it could be a fun boat. any sugestions?

May not be shot , pull the plugs and let the boat dry out then spray some wd40 in the cylinders and rotate the engine by hand . Put the plugs in and rotate by hand and see if you can feel compression resistance if so you should try to save the boat , you are in it cheap and can fix it for a reasonable amount of money
