1994-60hp Merc ???

Anybody know if this is a good motor. Went and looked at one last night. Seemed in good shape. Compression test was good. Oil injected, with controls, and brand new battery. He was asking $2500. All I want to do is get a good book and fish in the quiet of the lake. As soon as someone sees a female coming they think its payday. Any help you can give me would be great. Thanks for all you guys do. I'm thinking of offering him $2000.

It all depends on how well it has been taken care of. I think the price is high but do a search and see what motors like that are going for in your area.
