I posted this earlier and now I am not sure where it went...so sorry of this is posted twice.

I am looking into buying the above boat, this will be my first pontoon. Not my first boat by any means. The boat comes with a Merc 60 hspwr Big Foot, which was overhauled and bored out. I have kids and I want a boat the kids can run around on while in a cove and swim, will we still be able to tube with a 60? I know its not going to get around like my other boat, but will it be good or will I be disappointed with such a small motor? I am not looking for a speed demon, but I do want to get across the lake before I age a year older. Any help to the pros and cons of a toon I would appreciate it. Also cleaning the toons anything good that will clean and shine? I am a maintenance freak and I like for my things to run and look good so again help would be appreciated.

If your boat is properly set up I would think 19-21 mph is possible.
The great thing with a pontoon is you can build them into almost anything.
an over nighter, floating patio deck, front porch, fishing platform etc.
Can't help much on cleaner except to say perhaps alloy wheel cleaner might help to shine.Using a pollisher and buffer I have seen aluminum boats that look like chrome. That's over kill as far as I'm concerned.
