I am working a 1994 115hp Johnson and have had in the water and after 30 minutes it stalls out. I am able to start it and go WOT for a few but then it dies. It gets about 155 deg but no alarms at all. I have tested the Diode in the temp and its good. All systems componets check out in the shop. this only happens in the water. Any info would be great.

Welcome. Take a look at your fuel hoses and tank. Does the primer bulb flatten out when it stops running? Your tank vent may be stopped up or closed and creating a vaccum in the line. When the motor stops, it allows just enough fuel to get through to run for a while. Just my guess.

I ran it on a seperate fuel tank and it still did the same thing. The fuel pulb did not go flat after running and it seamed the longer I tried to start it the harder it got to start. I will be tested it tomorrow. I replaced the sensor and will see what tah does.
