motor had been running fine now if I run at wide open throttle for a few minutes it will suddenly die and then re start. i did notice if i immediately tried to start it, it felt like fuel was loaded in the cylinders. temporary lock and then it would start right up, idle great and if i only went 3/4 throttle it would not die out. this last time i got it to die out, the motor ran rough for a while, now it is running better, i have tested the stator and it tests good, does anyone think this could be a power pack problem? motor is a 1994 115hp omc turbojet.

a couple other things i would like to add, at one point my tach was reading higher by about 1,000 rpms than it normally would, inaccurately. but now it has returned to normal. thats why i was thinking its electrical and not fuel related. another thing i did have a series of overheats on this motor last year, that have been remedied.

it felt like gas was loaded up in the cylinders. i went to start it and the motor would turn a little and then lock, i would wait a minute and it would turn right over.

right after it first died at WOT, the tach started reading higher inaccurately by about a 1000 rpms. also when it died it was quick and sudden, but always restarted. anyone?
