Hi, I have a 1993 60hp yamaha outboard that will not rev right up through the rev range sometimes. The initial problem was it would no pass 2800 rpm but now it gets to 4000rpm but no more. It has only one pulsar coil which meters ok (315ohms) and one charge coil which meters at 190ohms (not sure if thats right or not?) The fuel is fresh and good, the lines are ok and I am pretty sure the fault is electrical. CDi, charge/pulsar coils etc? Can some-one guide me how to do a test to eliminate certain components?<br />many thanks<br />Jiz
