1993 X-flow water in cylinder

I have had this problem with my 120 looper and it was a 89.the block material from salt water wore away to the sleeve, and you know the rest. my question is...was this a problem with X-flows too? early 90's

Not real sure how that relates to fixing what you have. There are several fixes for the eaten away material depending on how bad it really is. You have the big bore 90 degree V4 (2 liter) looper so even if you wanted to replace the block any block from 1988 on will work.
