No worries with the hours. Condition is the key. Go look at it and see if all of the parts and pieces are in good working order. This one's worth a look.

How is stingray as a manufacturer? Are they higher end, lower eng, mid grade? I know chap and cobalt are considered higher, where as your bayliners and sea rays are mid grades...

Mid probably. Mine is 9 years old and other than a little age in very high use vinyl areas, it looks brand new.

I'd say mid as well. They are nicely built boats, but you will not confuse them with the previously mentioned Cobalt by any means. I had a few fit and finish gripes about mine, but all were very minor. Even new Bayliners, which are much better then they used to be, are not close to as nicely finished (in my opinon) inside as Stingray's are. A similar year Bayliner would not compare favorably to that boat, but the same vintage small searay would be on par. Stingray also gives you a lot of ammenities standard instead of making you pay for them as available options, and their owner support and website is excellent.

On the downside, these boats ride hard if its rough, because of the light weight. The boat you're looking at is basically the predecessor of mine, the current 195CS/CX model, and is still very similar.
