1993 Stingray 501 zp Weigth

Hello to you all Guru's

I might be buying this wonderfull boat (16 feet model) with a Yamaha 70HP in the back.

I own a 2006 Nissan Altima with limited towing capability because of the presence of the muffler. The towing thing is not capable of carrying the normal load for a car of that size.

Where can I get the weigth for this boat +- 100 pounds ?

Where can I get specifications for this boat ? (length, weigth, OAL, etc.)

Tried contacting the dealer but to no luck...

Looks like 1134lbs with 70hp motor, probably add 400lbs for the trailer and 266lbs for fuel and gear for a total (estimated) of 1800lbs.

Seems like quite a bit for a Nissan Altima to me. I personally think cars like this shouldn't be towing anything. You would be much better off with a 6cyl truck or SUV.

I agree you will have stopping issues as well as possible pull out problems with the front wheel drive. I wouldn't pull a boat of that size with an Altima.
