1993 Ski Brendella Sport Comp Open Bow 20’

We have a 1993 Ski Brendella Sport Comp Open Bow 20’ and the tilt steering is going. I have never replaced the steering before, but after reading some web sites, before we can order parts we need to figure out the length of the steering cable. Does anyone know the length? I have seen some site say that say sometimes the length is printed on the outside, I haven't seen that on ours yet. I also saw a video that tells us how to measure, plastic to plastic +18 inch round to nearest foot.
