Got the constant alarm over the weekend while on the river- oil tanks are not empty, caps aren't cracked, lines aren't leaking and the tanks had vacuum. From what I am reading in my manual, it won't alert to an overheat so Im deciding it's oil. Maybe a stripped oil pump gear or a bad pump?

I'll take any advice you may have.

UFM82

I'm going to troubleshoot the system tonight.

Does the alarm sound with key on but not running?, or when running?
It should alarm to overheat, that is a must have, look at the prices to fix/replace your motor.
Where did you read it doesn't alarm for overheat?

Several things cause alarm, oil level, oil motion sensor, overheat. Run 50 to 1 premix till you solve problem.

A steady alarm is overheat, sets of three beeps means oil, it will also alarm for water in the fuel seperator. are the warning lights on the dash on, or blinking? Let us know. Joe
