1993 Force 40HP engine mounts?

Just got my boat back from the mechanic. He said that the engine mounts are shot. Basically, he can tell by putting the boat in gear and he can notice the engine tilting to the left or right.<br /><br />Has anyone else experienced this? How hard would it be to replace them myself?<br /><br />Anyone experience "signs" that their mounts are shot?<br /><br />~Phil

Are they cracked or broken?<br /><br />Or are the holes in the transom loose and sloppy? <br /><br />Seems strange.<br />Did he offer to fix the problem?
