Hi everyone!, SO last week i picked up a Boston whaler Rage 14' jet boat with a yahama 650 jet drive. I am a little stumped as to the ins and outs of jetboats and PWC type drives so im in need of your help. Ive spent many a hour trying to find just basic info on this boat and motor setup. Mainly, service manuals for the boat, and motor, or both together. I really like to do repair work myself but its hard if you dont have the prior experience. BUT, the main issues is that the boat runs, but does not go very fast, and by not very fast i mean it goes slow, not even enough to tube. motor seems to run fine (although a full tune up is in the works. Im begining to feel that the issue is more in the impeler unit, but i cant get a straight answer on parts, i cant find a parts diagram so i cant even get part numbers. I really dont care for any of my local boat shops and would rather do it myself. Please, if you have any information, or can direct me to a actual source of products or digrams i would be greatful. Ive been to continues wave and it seems bleak there too.
