Hi All,

I now have 0 power, no tilt/trim, no ignition, nodda. One thing all my switches work for my Bilge, radio,Navigation.

When I turn the key I get one beep like everything is ok, but try to turn the key and nothing. Please guys I am begging you for your help..

Paul

Could be the starter but my money is on bad battery cables from the motor. Disconnect the positive and negative battery cables from the motor and the battery.

Check the cable for any corrosion, burnt casing or breaks in wire. If the cables are corroded or the connections are loose/corroded you will get the exact symptoms you saw here.

If you heared sizzling, you should see some burnt wires/cables.

Something has grounded out to a positive connection.

Take off the power pack cover and see if it looks burnt.

Ok.

1. I checked the Battery got 12.5 volts with my volt meter.
2. Checked Battery cables and they are ok.
3. Visual inspection of wires to Power Pack ok.
4. Removed Power Pack looked good, but its got a thick coat of plastic but from what I could see looks ok.
5. Tested Volts from Battery to engine got same 12.5 Volts.
6. Tried to use the Tilt and Trim and the Regualtors now make a buzzing noise when pressing T/T ON ENGINE moving up and down.

Still have 0 (ZERO) power when I turn the key, how ever the Tachometer jumps back and forth

This SELOC Manual is NOT Helping me much. Thats what I get when I buy cheap. I am looking for the Shop manual now. Does anyone have anymore troubleshooting techniques I can use?

Update!!

Ok. I took a pair of jumper cables and attached them from my Boat Battery to the + of Voltage Regulator and the - to the - cable on the block and it started.

I know this is a stupid question but I would assume my Battery Cables are bad so I pulled them and am going to get new ones, but before I do that am I correct in saying that was the problem....

If all you did was bypass your orginal cables and it started, I would say you are on the right track.
