1992 yamaha 115 hard to start

I just had it rebuilt carbs included it was having starting problems even before the rebuild seems like anytime it sits for awhile it gets this problem also when looking at it with mechanic it showed a very week or no spark while cranking any help will be appreciated

Sometimes it hard to see the forest for the trees. I would check the cranking speed of the engine. Slow cranking speed will cause weak or no spark. The electonics on the Yamaha's rarely give problems but the starters can wear out. Check the voltage at the starter when starting. If its 9.5 or better, the connections and battery is good. If not, back check the system to see where you are losing it. If you have the voltage, have the starter checked or replaced.

loose battery cable was the problem thanks for the help
