I've used this canoe motor about 15 hours over the last 10 years. I never know when I'm going to use it so I use the gas shut off valve to cut the gas to the carb each time I finish for the day to avoid buildup. Is this damaging the engine? If I use the motor once every couple of weeks, is it ok to just shut it off normally leaving gas/oil in the carb? Thanks in advance!
