Hello Again. I am beginning to understand that fuel delivery is crucial to the overall health of this engine. Under a warranty inspection , my dealer found that the anti-siphon valve on the main tank was plugged, causing the steady one-tone alarm to come at 2900-3000 rpm. He removed the anti-siphon valve on that tank and said the fuel delivery is steady and the fuel volume is now sufficient to satisfy the vacuum / fuel switch.? Question is , is this ok to run without the anti-siphon valve? The engine runs fine on the aux. tank without any alarm. By the way, the dealer replaced all hoses, fill lines and gas ****s, and I did check to see if the really did.
Second question is that at WOT the RPM is 5500 RPM . Is this ok?
Much appreciation for your comments.

You are right about fuel delivery, and the motor will run fine. It's a good thing they found that.

If 5500 is with a heavy load you are marginal but OK. Try to set it up to turn 5800 to 6000 at WOT with an average load. Then keep in mind -- fresh 87 octane, good oil and Champion plugs.

Good luck!
