I just bought a used Honda 15hp 1992 model. I had the carbs cleaned, put in new plugs, changed the oil, and put in a new fuel filter. The mechanic told me the motor had good compression and ran really good. I have had it on the water a few times now and it does run very strong. The only thing that concernes me is that after running WOT for a few minutes and I switch the engine off a puff of steam will shoot out the pee hole. The engine will start back up and has a strong flow of water. Is it that normal for a Honda? This is the first 4 stroke outboard I have ever owned.
