1992 Evinrude Tracker 60hp Outboard restart issue

Hi guys. I am new to the forum and have found a lot of great information on here. Very good site. I have been searching for a couple of days to try and find an answer and i just don't feel like i have found it. My 1992 Evinrude 60hp Model # TE60TLENE will start up first try everytime when i put it in the water. Runs great. I will shoot across the lake to my fishing spot and sit 2-3 hours. It will not restart. Has happened the last three times i have been out. It turns over all day but will not fire up. Once i troll across the lake and get it back home, it fires right up, first try. It if wouldn't work at all, i might not be so unsure about the cause...lol. It is driving me crazy, because i don't even want to take it out anymore. Any ideas??

In 2-3 hours the engine is back to its "cold start" status. Unless you raise the fast idle lever and give it a little prime (push in the key while cranking) just as you would when cold, it will likely not start readily.
