Hello I am a novice.
I took my boat out for the first time today.
I have a question about the cooling system.
There is a small hole under the main casing that I think sends cooling water from the engine.
The stream of water is more a trickle than a jet of water, is this correct ?
regards

If it's just a trickle, there may be a problem. If this is a new to you motor, it's a good idea to replace the water pump impeller. I would expect to see a healthy stream of water from the telltale. Check the thermostat while your at it. The thermostat is behind the small triangle cover with 3 screws. If you start the motor (in water of course), with the thermostat removed and it's cover off, you should see water gushing from the thermostat opening. As I mentioned, if you don't know the last time the impeller was replaced, do it now. You can remove the rubber tubing from the telltale and check for any blockage, in the tube, or at the powerhead too.
