1992 115hp 4 cyl Mercury engine spudders

at 2000 rpms, runs smooth under and above 1850 to 2000 rpm. The motor has never been apart but also has very few hours on it. Would this be in the carbs or ignition. Thanks, This is a very cool forum. Its opener in SD this weekend and might have to try and get a few walleees

At about that RPM your engine is changing over from 2 cyls to 4, some times a carb adjustment will take it out and even had a couple that had to reprop but thats the nature of a 2+4 engine

OK, Its only gets to be bothersome when tubing with the little kids. They want to go pretty slow. Thanks for the help.
