This 1991 Malibu Euro F3 with a Mercruiser 5.7L engine accelerates fine but then starts surging and won't hold a steady RPM. Any ideas what is the problem?
Well let's see....lack of fuel, weak or cross firing spark if it has a distributor and probably a million more possibilities. If you have a primer bulb, get somebody to pump on it when the condition occurs and see if problem is resolved.
