Hi,

I have a 200 XP that I found to have no spark on 2 cylinders, 1 on the top portside and one on the bottom starboardside. I didn't have power coming from the powerpac to both of these, so I replaced the powerpac. That fixed the portside problem, but I'm still not getting power to the ignition coil from the powerpac on the bottom starboard. What else can be the problem? Thanks in advance.

One other thing. Since I replaced the Powerpac, the engine will not turn off at the ignition or kill switch. I have to choke it to stall it. What is that about ??

Return the powerpack to where you bought it and get a new one.

Provided the only thing you did to the engine was to swap powerpack, most likely :yes!
The stop function lies in the Power pack, and with only one cylinder not getting power(signal) from powerpack into coil, yes.
I take it you have performed both Ohm tests and output tests from charge and sensor coils into powerpack as well as checked that the black/uellow lead into powerpack grounds out when key in STOP position?

You could have connected the wires wrong for the no stop problem. No power from pack to coil one cylinder could be power pack, timer, wires and connections.

It was the timer base that was bad. I also did not have the ground connected properly on the Power Pac and that is why the engine did not shut off. Thanks for all the help !!
