1991 70hp Force - how to remove prop?

I bought a boat last year with a 1991 70hp Force motor. Over the weekend I hit a rock and lost one of the three blades on the prop. Engine still got me where I was going (hope I didn't ruin anything) but now I can't figure how to remove the prop. Seems to be one main nut, but has some type of brace holding the nut in place?<br />I have no idea of what I'm doing so if anyone can tell me how to remove the bolt with the brace it will be a great help!

There should be a locking tab washer behind the prop nut. Bend the tabs up and remove the nut, then the prop. Similar to this:<br /><br />

Rick,<br />Thanks for the help and the photos. I figured it was something fairly easy. But, with my lack of knowledge all jobs end up a major project.<br />Thanks again!
