I recently put a rod throught the powerhouse and replaced with a Yamaha. Is there any value to the engine for parts?

harrellusa

You'll probably do well if you advertise the parts on E-Bay separately. All in one piece will bring a portion of what the individual parts will go for. The lower unit and electronics will bring the most, along with the carbs and other parts.

Bushcat the motor has a rod through the powerhouse. Everything else is fine. I have owned and operated the engine since 1994. I have two aluminum props to go with it.

What is the shaft length? Has your 91' been a good reliable motor while you owned it? I have one that eats a lot of pistons. What price did you want?

The engine has always ran perfect before this. Just looking to offset the cost of installing the replacement. Would like to get somewhere around $500. Have two good props.

I am looking for the eyebolt/lift ring to hoist my 1993 135hp Mercury. Did you remove the engine yourself?
