Hey fellows, just have question about my new plugs i put in about month ago. First I had a ploblem when the boat stalling when I put it in gear, solve that with disconnecting the black and yellow wire . This afternoon I put the boat in the water and let run for while (still on the trailor) putting it in and out of gear..sounded good. I checked the plugs when got back and they all were dark brown. Is this good or bad?

If the plugs are all a uniform shade of brown you are where you should be. When you take it out and run it for a while the plugs will probably show a lighter shade of brown. Run it and enjoy.

hello<br /> sounds normal for low speed big bore two stroke. I am surprised they we not wet as well. did you find and repair the cause of the stalling? if that engine has a shift cutout switch and you bypassed it then the cause needs to be found and corrected. that switch is there for a reason. one day when your motor is really idling smooth you may find it wont come out of gear. good luck and keep posting
