1991 120hp Force Outboard Tilt/Trim

I noticed my til/trim cannot hold my outboard up. I can trim up but after a couple of minutes the engine will sink back down. Any thoughts or ideas on repair for this? I am a novice when it comes to this type of repair. Thanks.

At the top of the Force / Chrysler forum there are 3 stickys . You want to look at the middle one. It has your answers to your question and will show you how to fix her up.

Be VERY careful when you take the bypass valves apart.
​You can damage the soft aluminum in the housing and the valves.
​

Add a signature to your posts, include a location .
