Ok First off I know there is a diagram for the wiring on a stratos in this forum but my boat is wired up different. On the rectifier, where the trolling motor plugs into the front panel there are the 4 battery leads and two wires going to a switch. Below is how it is wired up.
It did have a SPST switch on it but after looking at one of the wiring diagrams on here they all have DPDT switches. My question is how does this current setup work and how can i find the proper wiring diagram to hook this up. I suppose i burned the switch up when charging as I did not know you was suppose to put it in the 12v position to charge. Doesn't seem like a good idea to put the warning information underneath the plug that you can't see unless you unplug it. Thanks in advance. Can't get on the water till i get it fixed.
