1990 Runs continuously

I have a 1990 mercruiser stern drive, tilt motor model SAE J1171. I stored it over the winter in my garage and I just hooked up the battery and now it runs continuously. Any suggestions?<br /><br />I also need wiring diagram showing wire connections to pump.<br /><br />Thank You.<br />Roger
