hello i have a 90hp 90 model force that will not pump water to block /i have installed new water pump checked lines and thermastat everything looks ok but it will not pump any water threw the port holes im at a lost any ideas would b great /thanks
The water should come out the exhaust snout. Some might come out the back.Depends on the relief valve. If it's stuck open or closed or even working at all.
Put it in the water and see how much water comes out.
Test the overheat switch to make sure your not overheating.J
/ where is the releif valve located /im also finding out force motors do not work well on muffs tryed two differnt kinds of muffs and get nothing /thanks
The reliefe valve is on the side under the starter(you can't do anything with it)under the water jacket.
Use duct tape to tape the muffs to the lower unit.Post a pic of yor muffs.
Does it pump in the water? You check the over heat sensor?
UH, Jerry? Remember: They got rid of the relief valve in the late 70s to early 80s. They left the cast hole but never machined it. 1990 definitely does not have a relief valve.
