So I took the boat out in hopes of recalibrating the carbs since I reinspected them after the engine developed an idle sneeze or cough. I paid close attention to "Franks linc and sync" sticky but couldn't relieve the sneezing. I thought maybe the slight exhaust leak may have a lot to do with it, I decided to deal with it at a later date. After bobbing around for a couple hours and trying various adjustments to shaft tower idle control screw, air screws on the carbs, cam follower arm adjustment and the little plastic roller thingy- it finally came to me...I decided to adjust the lower carb with the little plastic roller thingy slightly more forward/ open than the top carb...THIS IMEDIATELLY CURED THE SNEEZING IN frwd gear/idle speed...the motor calmed and became noticeably more responsive to the throttle. I am still having a lack of throttle but at the moment im happy with 44000rpm/29mph (according to gps), throttle maxed out. Out of sync link n sync cured my engine sneeze. Hope maybe this may help someone out who’s at whits end as I was

Very smooth actually. Is that odd? It’s probably running the smoothest since I’ve had it -if I could only get the throttle fixed...I’m thinking it’s the L bracket under the bottom carb

Puffitu you have add a "0" to much.
It is running at 4400rpm not 44000.
Slip at the keyboard?

Thanks; I didn’t catch that.
On a serious note-is this odd sync of the carbs going to mess throngs up? Or..
