This engine has the ignition module under the flywheel. Voltage on the yellow/blue, and yellow/green should be 175 volts or higher at cranking rpms. Red lead to primary side of coil, black to ground. Spark plug wire connected to spark tester or sparkplug with plug grounded, you want the spark to jump a gap. The same test with plugs in and engine running, voltage should be 200 volts or higher. Charge coil ohms 560 +- 25. There is no voltage spec for the charge coil, because you have to remove the flywheel to get at the wires.
If ignition module is bad, replace charge coil with the new module.
