Just purchased a 1990 2000 SL and just noticed it doesnt have a kill switch. I've always seem them near the throttle but don't see where it ever would have been. Does anyone know where it was on this year boat? ...ignition maybe?

hey, neuro-

congrats on the '90 sl purchase. if you are out center hill lake way, give me a yell. have a buddy with a '92 2000sl out here. not many chaps....

as to "kill switch".....are you talking about the lanyard connection to your swim vest? if so, doubt you will find it. don't have such a thing on my '92 and i don't recall my friend having one on his sl. i believe this safety feature was introduced years after our boats were built.

My 1997 had one. I think it's actually a function/part of the throttle controller. Mine was a Quicksilver 3000, I think. So yeah, probable that you boat never was intended to have one.

I've got a '93 2000 SL Sport and the kill switch is at the ignition. It goes behind the ignition switch.

My 90 SL doesn't have a factory kill switch, It's been through 2 Division of Watercraft safety inspections without fail.
