well we fixed all other problems now my idle runs 1200-1500 rpms warmed up.Had just rebuilt carbs synks good I believe,could it be in adjustment on throttle cable
That engine will normally idle at that rpm when on the trailer, running on the garden hose. It's a different story when the boat is floating normally in the water. The idle should be set when the boat is in forward gear, floating normally in the lake. 650-750 rpm.
