My 75hp Mercury trims up but doesn't trim down. When I try to trim it down it makes no noise. So, it has to be something with the switch being loose (Something electrical). After no luck of finding a way to disassemble the switch, I got a screwdriver and popped it out. Now, I think it is totally broken. Does that mean that I have to buy a whole new throttle stick? Even if I buy a new throttle stick, I wouldn't know how to disasseble the stick. I have looked at the whole stick and there is no cap or no screws to take out. It is practicly stuck on the side of the boat. There is only one screw on the inner side of the stick. But there is no way that screw can be taken out because of the tight space (about 1/2 inch space from screw to boat. Any one know how to fix this? Or, does anyone have had a problem similar to this?

Any input or suggestion would be appreciated. Thank-you.
