1990 200hp Johnson Lower unit slipping?

I have read that lower units don't 'slip'. On take off, before planing out, it sounds/feels like the clutch slipping. Then it jumps, like it caught and takes off, planes out, and runs fine. The 'jerk' is what has me perplexed. Any ideas what it might be?

Normal for that prop.----Try a prop with bigger diameter hub.

Run to the nearest prop shop and tell them you need a prop exhaust blow out ring for Johnrude. Or order one online...Part#5006512
