1989 teka with volvo aq131d

I ran this boat yesterday and it ran great, then on my return trip it started bogging down, I would bring it back to a idle then gas it again and it would be fine for a short period of time, then it would do the same thing untill it would only run at a idle. could a fuel pump do that?

Bad gas is more likely
Start by changing you fuel water seperating filter.

had the same problem with mine over the weekend and i could only manage 1700rpm turned out to be the points i was also goin down the line of fuel pump and coil but just a few pennies fixed it,,, take a look at your points(unless electronic)
