I have a 1989 Suzuki DT 150 Super Six motor that was running great. All plugs were cleaned and replaced. Ran for about an hour with no issues at all and went home. Went out the next day, motor started up great and ran for about 15-20 minutes with not an issue in the world. When we slowed to stop and just sit, the motor died and this in lies the issue I am having.

When trying to restart, there is no fire at all, the motor DOES NOT turn over at all. I can see it engage at the flywheel when we turn the key but that is it! Again there is no "turnover" of the motor at all.

Any thoughts or ideas would be great.

need to check to see if motor is locked up,
see if you can move flywheel by hand, but make sure key is off

Will try to check this evening. Can you give me some insight on either option, if the flywheel is able to be moved or if it is not? Thanks

If it will not move then it could be pistons stuck in cylinders or lower unit is locked up. Drop the lower 1st to rule that out.

If not locked up it may have cooled off and unstuck itself, so check compression and drain lower unit to see if metal is present.

check battery and cables would be the next thing
