Boat manual - came only with the boat and generally speaking not worth the paper it was printed on. Pointy end is the bow, point it where you want to go. Flat end is the stern. And some general rules of the waterway to observe - find a boating class as its more indepth.
What you're interested in is the owners & service manual for the engine. That's the heartbeat of your toy. Yamaha is in business, call them to see if you can get a manual OR check eBay.
