1989 Smoker Craft 182 Magnum - Specs and info<br />Does anyone have any info on these boats. I have been searching the web for some time but can find nothing specifically about them. I would be interested in a vintage 1989 brochure, specs and , consumer reports, reliability reports etc. Other info that tells what they originally were equiped with i.e trolling motor type would also be greatly appreciated.<br />Thanks in advance

I believe that the Smoker Craft is a plainer version of a Sylvan. You may be able to locate some info that way.

97MACHZ, Hi just contact smoker craft on the web,I have a 1994 altima which i like verry mutch,I was told that Sylvan wer maid by smoker icould be wrong. good luck...J,C,

Yes Sylvans are made by SmokerCraft.<br />Smokers are more heavy duty, Sylvans more economy line, named after the owners wife.<br />Both are fine boats.<br />Always liked the layout of the Sylvans.<br />Tried to get dad to buy one, but he had his mind set on an Alumacraft.

I purchased a 1994 182 pro mag last year (JULY 2010) in bad shape. I paid the money to have the 90 hp merc gone thru and that was it. The interior was shot but it was mechanicly water ready. So I took her out all sumer long to Kinkaid LK and LOZ, MS River. Every Time I took it out people would ask about this boat (Man this is what Im getting next or is this for sale?) So I started watching the classifieds and no one wants to get rid of these things they are like the best pair of boots you have ever owned. Plus I caught a lot of fish with the girlfriend and two dogs(cavaliers they are hers). So over the winter I have been fixing the little stuff I can. Will be putting Pics up next time.
