1989 sketter tilt and trim motor wont run

guys have a 89 merc 150 and trim motor wont work, its getting power from selonoids but wont turn, <br /><br />any suggestions on where to get a new trim motor or taking the old one off and cleaning the motor and see if it will work ?<br /><br />bill

Take it off and clean it. My bet its dirty inside and the armature need dressing with some sandpaper. Aftermarket replacements from Arco are available.
