eh, i am looking for a long block for the 1989 OMC 3.0
Everywhere im looking, its about 2,000. Is there anywhere cheaper? or if anyone has an old one laying around in their garage, thatd be nice hahaha. thanks, josh

I was just in the same boat... I bought a short block and a rebuilt head. $250 for the block, $369 for the head... both from eBay.

135#s in each cylinder...

IF your from new york on craiglist theres a guy selling a complete 3.0 for $500 i saw the listing like 2 days ago

Try calling all the boat mechanics in your area, probably not the dealers, but they might know where to look too. I usually just get out the yellow pages and go down the list and I always end up finding plenty of omc parts in Fort Worth. Good Luck.
