1989 Johnson 150 hp

it doesn't want to take off. runs good when muffed. but when put on the water it takes forever for it to take off if it even does. how do i check fuel compression?

Uh...what's fuel compression? Do you mean cylinder compression? Fuel restriction? <br /><br />More info would be helpful.<br /><br />Walt

Hey Mailman;<br />I responded to your previous post and may have somewhat mispoke as to fuel pressure.<br />If your cylinder compression is ok I would disconnect fuel feed to engine from fuel pump and make sure there is constant flow when turning engine over.<br />It is more helpful to you if you continue the original thread you start so that others may jump in and assist in your problem.<br />Good Luck
