1989 force 125 Prop

i trying to firgure out what prop i need for this motor.How do you determine if you have a non thru hub exhaust or thru hub and snot single exhaust?

I'm pretty sure 89 FORCE 125 exhaust comes out of the trim fin behind the prop. Most aftermarket props come with through-prop exhaust which is fine even if your motor does not have that feature.

Some Force engines came with a dual exhaust feature which exhausted both through the prop and the exhaust snout/trim tab. I don't think your engine was one of them though.

If your lower unit has water intakes just behind the prop on each side of the gearcase torpedo, then it is single exhaust and can use either prop--your choice. If it has a line of intake holes running up the side of the lower unit starting just above the gearcase torpedo, then it is dual exhaust and you must use a thru-hub exhaust prop.
