1989 DT65 Float Height Question

Hello all,

What is the correct float height for this year and do I measure from the gasket surface, without the gasket installed, to the top of the float? Or, from the top of the main jet to the top of the float (while inverted for both options)? I've seen it both ways on different DT65 iterations.

I really appreciate any help!

Does the float arm has a metal hinge so you can bend or it's fixed ? The float is supposed to sit parallel to the carb edge without gasket when inverted....

There is a metal adjustment tang. So, I should make the bottom of the float and the edge of the bowl parallel?

My issue has been when I put it into gear it just dies out and these floats appear to be making me very lean and starved?

The third picture is after my adjustment.

The first pic, the one that reads attached files is the one most if not all carb's floats works adjusted to as seen adjusted with inverted carb. Second, thrird pics seems way out of adjustment....
