1989 70 - Remote Wiring Diagram (in color)?

Does anyone have a color copy of the wiring diagram for the remote control for a 1989 70? My manual's picture is black and white, and I can't tell what feeds into what in the connector.

My warning horn doesn't function when grounding the temp sensor, so my next step is to unplug the remote connector and feed 12V to the right pair of pins and to see if the horn itself works.

Thanks for picture or pointer to one.

Thanks - that gives the wiring for the ignition switch, but I was actually looking for something else. Let me try to be more specific; I don't have the manual in front of me so I may get some of this wrong:

The big red (10-way?) connector clipped together at the side of the exhaust cover connects the remote control to the motor. From my manual, it looks like one of those wires is a +12V feed to the horn, and at least one of the others is a 12V ground - I think it only connects to the horn if the key switch is on. I may have that polarity reversed, though. The picture of the connector is color-coded, but my manual is black and white, so I can tell what wire connects to what pin.

If I can figure out the two pins I need, I'd like to send 12V down to see if the horn works. I guess I could open up the remote control box as well and check the horn directly, but I was concerned something was going to go "sproing" and be difficult to get back together.

If someone with a color version of the manual could help me out, I'd certainly appreciate it. I expect the remote is the same for many motors, so it doesn't need to be a manual specific to the 70. Thanks.

The closest I have is for up to 1985 twin cylinder. Control should be similar, I believe. You have a PM

I hope this is what you need. If not I have the rest of the color images that came with my service manual. Let me know what you find out. I just checked my temp horn the other day like the manual said and mines not working either.

Thanks, and thanks also to Frank who responded earlier. It looks like I can send +12 down the red and black lead, and ground the tan, and with the ignition on I should hear the horn. Hope the problem isn't the horn itself, after pricing a replacement at $74 (ouch).

Thanks again!
