Hello again,

I removed my outboard and had to disconnect some wiring. I took photos of everything, but need to confirm that two wires aren't supposed to have a home. The previous owner removed the oiler and I'm assuming these connections are related. However, I've been known to be wrong. Coincidentally (we'll see about that), the charging system isn't working and I'm also replacing the rectifier this evening to help diagnose.

So, do these ends need a home????

Thanks in advance for any input.

3 prong receptacle is the oil alarm. keep it dead. the tan i think is the temp sender wire, should go to a connect on the cylinder head (no Positive)

Thanks a lot for the quick reply. Just tested my rectifier and it failed, so the new one goes in tomorrow.
